We are proud to welcome Carl De Geer as the new Chief Operating Officer at METRIC Accounting.
Carl grew up on Ekerö, just outside Stockholm, and holds a degree in Economics from Lund University. He began his career in auditing at Deloitte, but after several years at a global company, he became curious about working at a smaller firm in a more strategic role. This led him to the position of Business Controller at Vestum – where he first came into contact with METRIC.
METRIC quickly became a valued service provider within the Vestum group, and when Carl later moved on to become CFO at the scale-up company Ivisys, the collaboration continued. His experiences at both companies have given Carl a clear understanding of METRIC Accounting’s culture, working methods, and values, and when the opportunity to become COO arose, it was a natural next step.
In his new role, Carl will focus on developing the business, strengthening client relationships, and improving internal processes. The goal is to continue building METRIC into a company that creates value for both clients and employees.
