Balanco continues its growth journey through the acquisition of the Danish accounting firm Bokföring Nord ApS, further strengthening the group’s presence in Denmark. The acquisition is part of Balanco’s long-term strategy to grow within advisory and accounting services in the Nordic region, with a focus on combining local expertise with digital development and scalable services.
Bokföring Nord was founden in 2009 and currently has six employees based in Aalborg, where they provide financial services. In 2025, the company generated approximately DKK 4.5 million in revenue. Following the acquisition, the Balanco group consists of approximately 220 employees.
Balanco’s strategy, supported by several acquisitions in recent years, is based on identifying companies that share the same vision and want to create long-term growth together. This is built on a shared set of values and a common approach to supporting our client’s growth journey.

I know this from personal experience: I sold my own company to Balanco in 2024, and I have seen first-hand what partnership means in practice,” says Bente Lüdemann, Balanco’s M&A lead for Denmark, who led the negotiations for the Bokföring Nord transaction.
